“There are New Friends in the House!!”

“Purple Lady Dragon has returned from the spa,

And she is thrilled to be joined by her ‘Taco Loving’ friend, “AW!!”

The most proper bulldog, Gaston, has arrived-he is super neat!

And our bulldog buddy is welcomed by the super cool cat, Pete!

“Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?”

I see a big eyed and  green Froggy starring at me.

So before you say Good Night to your Construction Site,

Swing by the Library to see, “How Dinosaurs Stay Friends,”

And I’m sure the Ladybug Girl will have a smile to lend.”

There are new stuffed animal friends in the play house at Rocky River Public Library’s Children’s Department! The Children’s Department maintains a dynamic non-circulating toy collection for our patrons and community to enjoy.  Come and exercise your child’s imagination in the play house or create and explore new tracks and trails on the train table.  If construction is your call come and build to new heights with the Magna-Tiles®.  You can also engage with our popular board games and puzzles too.  Pediatrician, Kenneth R. Ginsburg says, “Play is essential to development because it contributes to the cognitive, physical, social and emotional well-being of children and youth.” So come,  explore and play at the Rocky River Children’s Department.
