Here at the Rocky River Public we are proud to provide our community’s youth an environment where they are able to develop and expand their intelligence, creativity, and collaboration skills so they are ready for the future.
To keep things fresh we feature different materials and technology each month in addition to recurring technology. In September we had SmartBoard Play, Ozobot Coding, Snapcircuit Kits, fiber making materials and clay. Enjoy browsing through our pictures and videos to learn and grow along with us!
What exactly is an Ozobot you ask? Here is a quick introduction video. Ozobots are cool!
Every month we also have SnapCircuits for kids to explore electric circuitry with. Youth can design lights, fans, alarms, radios and more!
It also warms my heart to know that youth still love hands on non-tech ingenuity and creativity too. Every month we provide a variety of traditional art and media materials to create and explore with. The big hit this month were our fiber materials. Tweens created dolls, pillows, and fluffy friends to take home with them.
Our next MakerSpace program is Monday October 17th from 3:30 to 4:30. No registration is required. Tweens in the 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grade are welcome to join us!
